Escollir l'amor invites us to think and reflect on love and death. The exhibition includes photographs and texts by Maria Permanyer Bailac; texts, audio and music by Marc Lloret Isiegas; as well as music by Lucía Fumero, Joan Garriga, Maestro Espada, Mishima, Robe Iniesta, Los Toreros Muertos, and Marc Lloret with Dani Vega and Pau Vallvé. It also features words by Francesc Torralba, Rainer Maria Rilke and Viktor E. Frankl.

Espai Lab Ausa will host an exhibition commemorating 25 years of VicSona.

A journey through the 25-year history of this young music showcase and competition, looking back through a combination of physical and audiovisual formats. The exhibition showcases this journey and the results of this initiative. Over these 25 years, many musicians and bands have taken part in VicSona. Some have continued with their projects, others have found new paths, and some have even gone on to achieve great recognition.

Seven photography exhibitions about music in Vic, running alongside the Mercat de Música Viva.

All seven 7 de Música exhibitions are open to visitors during the MMVV. The project is organised by Tres-e-u VicClic, a non-profit devoted to promoting photography and the visual arts in the Osona region, with the support of Vic Town Council and the Mercat de Música Viva.

The seven exhibitions:

• En directe by Francesc Fàbregas. Sala Romeu. Iconic images from decades of music photojournalism.
• MMVV 2025. Ambients by Eugeni Bel. Cloister. 25 black-and-white images of the audiences and crew behind the festival.
• MMVV 2025. Una mirada by Carles Costa. Cloister. Sixteen fleeting moments around the spectacle of live concerts.
• Món Gamelan by Xavier Erruz. Cloister. A visual journey into Balinese music and dance.
• Sense tu... MMVV 2025 by Ricard Jordà Roig. Cloister. Sixteen photographs in which the instruments take centre stage.
• Cervesa calenta a la Vallcarca valenta by Xavi Piera. Cloister. A black-and-white record of a street tribute to musician Uri Caballero.
• De vinils i fotografies by Col.lectiu Disqueros. Cloister. Vinyl sleeves created by some of the most celebrated photographers in history.

Meet the photographers: on the morning of Saturday 19 September, during the MMVV, several of the authors will be in the exhibition rooms to talk about their work with visitors.
