Mar Pujol begins a new chapter with the release of her second album, D’aquesta aigua no en beuré (Hidden Track Records, 2026), due out in October. While Cançons de Rebost opened a space for pause and contemplation, this new work is driven by contradiction: a forceful statement that dismantles itself from within, a provocation that questions certainty. On stage, the project evolves without losing its essence.

It seems as though the music of MAR PUJOL, slow and delicate, has the power to stop time with the strings of her guitar, like a gentle breeze caressing you as you rest on the grass in a meadow in Lluçanès, in another, quieter life, without euphoria or frenzy; like a softer rhythm in another historical dimension, free from the addiction to the next minute. PUJOL sings as if she valued silence so deeply that she only dared to interrupt it when she was sure she had found a note that could bring it into better balance. And then she fills it, close to the shelter of an ear.
