Maria Arnal presents AMA, a performance that fuses voice, body, and artificial intelligence from a feminist perspective. The project reflects on vocal sovereignty and the separation between body and sound. In collaboration with research centers and five dancers, synthetic voices created from her own voice are modulated by movement, resulting in a living, evolving chorus. AMA is the artist's first solo work and will be performed in several international venues.
What flows through MARIA ARNAL’s creative mind is a surprise party. Her curiosity builds bridges between the tangible and intangible, offering ways we couldn’t have imagined. That’s why her presence is so magnetic, her voice so mysterious, and her art so compelling: as if from afar we could sense that what she will do will open doors to forgotten emotions, to ideas we need to connect with, or to the sensitivity that allows us a fuller way of being in the world. Like the water from a spring that flows and quenches our thirst, like an arrow that points and guides us, like a witness to the mysteries that have always been and those yet to come.
