The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic is already preparing its 37th edition, scheduled to take place from September 17 to 21, 2025.

The programming is structured around two lines: MMVV Pro Catalan Arts! program, designed for professionals with the aim of promoting the hiring of premieres and new proposals, and MMVV Festival program, aimed at the general public with a more playful and festive spirit. The MMVV Pro Catalan Arts concerts will take place from Wednesday to Friday at the venues L’Atlàntida, els Dolors, and the Jazz Cava. The MMVV Festival programme will run until Sunday and will also include stages spread throughout the city, such as the one in Plaça Major.

How to participate in MMVV 2025?

The period to submit proposals for the 37th edition concludes on March 31, 2025. The artistic direction selects approximately 60 proposals based on the following criteria for selection:

• Priority is given to projects that involve the premiere of a show or a new album
• The uniqueness of the artistic identity, artistic risk, and the trajectory of the artist/band is valued
• The stability of the management company is taken into consideration
• The potential for sales and economic and technical viability are also assessed
• The explanation of the project's objectives (targeted programmers, territorial scope, etc.) and the significance of its participation in MMVV to achieve some or all of these objectives is also considered in the evaluation

Proposals can be submitted for all musical styles and genres, with the exception of classical music.

The artistic direction will decide which option (MMVV Pro or Festival) is more suitable for each artistic project.
