On the third anniversary of L’aigua clara (TRIS, 2022), Mishima remains true to live performance as a genuine space for connection with the audience. With nine albums and over two decades of career, the Barcelona-based band has built a repertoire that is now part of the country’s emotional songbook. We are experts at starting, you said, at returning to the orange scent of those nights that seemed like dawns. Maybe they were. I remember everything was blurred, ecstasy turned to sleep, sleep became light. The sleeping morning streets welcomed our beginning, guarded it better than we did.
