SARA is incredible! And what I find most incredible about her is that, since I’ve known her, she hasn’t stopped. In 2017, her production company organised a concert for us, Cala Vento, in a crypt in Donosti. That is where we met, and where I discovered Nerabe, SARA’s first band —I think.
Since then, I have kept an eye on everything she has been doing, and she has never stopped bringing me joy: her solo project, Sara Zozaya; her collaboration with Viva Belgrado; the secret project not everyone knows she has; and —as I’ve just found out— she is also plotting something with KE LEPO, a sort of Fred Again from the Basque Country, for someone like me who knows absolutely nothing about electronic music.

All this persistence and SARA’s artistic versatility show me that she is obsessed with music and that she will never stop making it —one way or another—, and that moves me. It makes me believe there are still people who love long-lasting artistic careers more than the trend-driven, fleeting content we are getting used to.

SARA and KE LEPO worked together on the production of the singer’s latest release and have created a joint live show in which they will blend two fairly opposite styles to make you cry and dance in equal measure. Bring Kleenex and comfortable trainers, because you never know.
