PELADOS
Pelados make independent rock with complete freedom and a fully contemporary outlook. From Brazil, the band combine alternative pop, indie rock, electronics and digital textures to build sincere, unpredictable songs full of energy. After albums such as Sozinhos and Foi Mal, they are preparing the release of CONTATO, their third album: a space-rock experiment for the digital age. A cosmic, urgent and uninhibited project, designed to sound like a message sent into outer space.
It is the same as being online in the early hours and ending up deep inside the most random thread on the internet: PELADOS are that band you cannot stop scrolling through. Few embody this language of being chronically connected better than this São Paulo group. With the computer as their main instrument, they turn memes, science fiction and pop culture into a unique and chaotic blend of hyperpop and groove. Listening to their music is like starting a shift at Lumon Industries: everything is strange and unsettling. But the only thing you can do is let your body separate from you and try to move within their world.
