Dressed Like Boys answers a question you might have asked yourself on a festival night, after five concerts in a row: what do rockers sing when they take off the mask? Josep Pla writes that being a little sick in the city, knowing that it will amount to nothing, just as summer turns into autumn, is “almost a grace of God.” Clearly, Pla imagined a Mercat de la Música Viva with Jelle Denturck (DRESSED LIKE BOYS): controlled, purifying melancholy that cleanses our souls at festivals, where every sadness has a reverse side of joy.
